Tell us about yourself.
Yo soy Ian. (For all you Spanish speakers) I am a 20 year old student attending Diablo Valley College majoring in Communication. I have a large collection of All Star Chuck Taylors. I LOVE laughing more than anything else and making others crack a smile. I have a huge love for art, sports, music, and comedy. I'm a vegetarian and I love animals. (I'm not an activist or a hippie though) I like to snowboard and I'm a huge thrill seeker/adventurer. I enjoy meeting new people so feel free to say hello if you ever see me around.
Describe your style.
My style is an extension of my personality. Very chill, but it stands out. I mix bright and dark colors a lot. It's a fusion of art, urban wear, and my California lifestyle.
How old were you when you started to find your fashion sense? When did your converse obsession start?
I was a late bloomer. It was my freshman year of high school when someone made fun of me because of the clothes I was wearing and it happened before to me in middle school. So I thought to myself "Maybe I should try something new and experiment." I just started buying clothes I felt described myself visually and it worked.
During my freshman year as well. I got tired of wearing Nikes since they were so expensive and everyone was wearing them, so I wanted to be different and I felt that Converse expressed my lifestyle. Simple, but unique. My favorite color is Green and that's the only color I wore my freshman year, so my first chucks were a pair of green low tops. I was just happy I could wear shoes I could finally get dirty and not care afterwards.
What are some of your fav items in your closet now?
My chucks of course, and probably all the graphic tees I own. Each shirt represents a piece of my personality in some way. Either a funny shirt, a shirt drawn by an artist, or a shirt with cool colors.
What fall 2012 trends do you love most?
I love pom beanies. They are my new love. I also like when girls wear those knit beanies. Those always look good on women.
What/who inspires your fashion sense?
I'd say my style is a combination of Pharrell and Kid Cudi. I usually just buy clothes that I feel that I would like. I don't really ask for anyone's opinion anymore.
What advice would you give someone struggling to find their own personal style?
Wear whatever makes you feel good about yourself. Your clothes are a visual extension of your personality. Don't be afraid to experiment.
Boxers or briefs?
Boxer briefs! ( Wait, can I do that?) If I could only choose 1, then Boxers.

Yes cousin I do agree your blog is coming along awesome...I can relate to loving chucks that was my shoe of choice back in high school..now, it vans or Levis..I also love mix matching colors! Matching is over rated...I respect a man who goes with his own trends & not everyone elses..from the few pictures I see..you have a cool style..
