Have "bromances" made romance nonexistent? A friend of mine told me she recently went on a double date from hell! The two guys ignored her & the other lady the entire night! The two guys spent the night exchanging "funny pics" from Instagram, tweeting about their lives, & totally being nonchalant to the fact that they were on a date!!
I personally do not double date for numerous reasons, it's just way too awkward for me. But what happened to a guy taking a lady out, giving her his undivided attention, & making her feel like the queen she is? Is that gone forever??
I guess the terms "M.O.B" & "bros over hoes" killed romance. Guys rather put their friends over their lady! Crazy right? A woman should never feel like she has to compete with the homie! A date should be an opportunity for the two people to connect & get to know each other! Not with the guy chatting with his "brah" about the naked chick on Instagram!
I hope men get it together & get it together fast! These queens aren't going to take this foolishness for long. Will your "bro" keep you warm at night, encourage you with a kiss when you feel like the world is against you, cook for you, massage you, be that gem on your arm? No they will not! So men please start appreciating women for what we are. Respect is the minimum! I love you guys, stay blessed!
